Subsequently, it determines that the resources of the FONDEF will be allocated to the “recovery, modernization and / or incorporation of material in accordance with the provisions of article 19 of Law No. 24,948”.
In its Article 3, it details how the allocation of resources will be, understanding that they will be given in accordance with the provisions of the National Defense regulatory framework.

On military equipment, it also establishes priorities, the first being the recovery of the material out of service. Secondly, the modernization “when it is suitable, feasible and acceptable” and finally the incorporation of new equipment, whose priority will be material that has a deterrent capacity, and favors the standardization with the already existing equipment at a joint level and carrying new technological development.
