According to a statement from the Ministry of Defense of Peru, the state-owned company Servicio de Mantenimiento del Perú S.A.C. (SEMAN) will carry out maintenance and repair work on 13 Boeing New Generation (NG) aircraft belonging to the Brazilian airline GOL Linhas Aéreas.

The company, which falls under the Peruvian defense portfolio, signed the contract with GOL Linhas Aéreas on February 23, with the first aircraft entering Hangar 3001 facilities at the Additional Fixed Unit Callao on Friday, March 1, located at Jorge Chávez International Airport.

It’s worth noting that SEMAN PERÚ SAC is composed of personnel from the Peruvian Air Force, with the entry of twelve (12) Boeing 737s planned throughout the year. This way, the Peruvian state company consolidates its position in the international market for aircraft maintenance centers (MRO).

Additionally, it’s important to mention that SEMAN frequently conducts repair and modernization work on units of the Peruvian Air Force (FAP). Recently, as part of an aircraft recovery process, the modernization of an attack and transport helicopter Mil Mi-35P was announced, including the updating of its avionics.
