The team from Zona Militar, along with Escenario Mundial and Espacio Tech, visited the headquarters of INVAP S.E. in the province of Río Negro, and had the opportunity to firsthand witness the main projects developed by the company in the fields of defense, space, and nuclear technology.
With over 45 years of experience and more than 1,000 executed projects, INVAP has positioned itself as a leader in Latin America in the development of complex technological projects for the country.
During a visit to the company’s headquarters, the team from Zona Militar, along with Escenario Mundial and Espacio Tech, had the chance to gain firsthand knowledge of the main projects being carried out by INVAP.
With over 1,700 employees, INVAP boasts an extensive client portfolio both nationally and internationally, making it a strategic company for Argentina’s productive matrix in complex technological projects.
INVAP serves various areas of the National State as clients, prominently collaborating with the Armed Forces of Argentina in the defense sector. Additionally, INVAP has a broad international client base, positioning it as one of the strategic companies with significant value for the productive matrix in critical areas within the country.
In the realm of defense, INVAP stands out for its innovative track record in radar technology, having delivered, installed, and operated over 100 units. Presently, the Argentine Air Force relies on radar systems for air and land surveillance and control, playing a crucial role in the country.
Among other notable projects, INVAP has worked on the development of Rotary Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (RUAVs), Air Defense Operational Console Systems (SCODA), Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) Information Acquisition and Dissemination Systems for the IA-58 Pucará aircraft. Furthermore, there are ongoing advancements in other future projects, such as anti-drone systems, C2 consoles, and cryptography.
