CSG Group Defence, one of the divisions within Czechoslovak Group, is present at the new edition of Eurosatory with a wide range of capabilities and products. Hosted in the Czech Republic pavilion, CSG showcases its solutions in various niches, including military trucks, artillery combat vehicles, ammunition of all types, and detection systems, among others.
CSG Defence is composed of companies such as Excalibur Army (EA), Tatra Defence Vehicle, MSM Land System, ZVS Holding, FMGranada, VOP Nováky, 14. Oktobar, among others, which allows it to offer a broad array of solutions for various niches.
One of the systems exhibited at Eurosatory 2024 is the MORANA artillery combat vehicle, designed as a fire support platform incorporating state-of-the-art technology. This includes a modern targeting control system, automatic loading, high mobility, and protection provided by an EA Puma armored cabin.
The MORANA ACV features a 155mm L52 cannon, which not only allows it to hit targets at 41.5 kilometers but also provides the capability to use both conventional and guided projectiles.
With a crew of three soldiers, the MORANA can take a firing position and make the first shot within 40 seconds, maximizing the benefits offered by its automatic loading and control systems. The latter also has the advantage of being an open architecture type, allowing the integration of solutions according to user requirements.
CSG Defence also has a significant presence in the military and combat vehicle niche thanks to the solutions provided by Tatra. This includes the renowned trucks of the brand, which are offered in 4×4, 6×6, 8×8, 10×10, and 12×12 configurations and come with dozens of specialized variants. A Tatra Force 8×8 T 815 6×6 is showcased at Eurosatory.
Tatra Defence Vehicle offers the TITUS 6×6, TADEAS 6×6, and the Pandur II 8×8/EVO Wheeled Armored Combat Vehicle, a model also in Excalibur Army’s portfolio.
Regarding ammunition, CSG Defence provides a wide range of products: from infantry weapon ammunition to mortar, artillery, and combat vehicle projectiles, both of Western design and calibers used by other nations. Tank projectiles of both 105mm and 120mm are also exhibited at Eurosatory.
FMGranada, one of the companies within CSG Defence, specializes in the production of high-caliber ammunition, propellants, and R&D services.
