At Eurosatory 2024, Turkish company Otokar has stood out on the Zona Militar coverage with the unveiling of its innovative armored vehicles. Their exhibit has prominently featured the ARMA family of armored vehicles in 6×6 and 8×8 configurations, alongside the ARMA II, Cobra II, Akrep, Alpar, and Tulpar. These vehicles are presented in various configurations tailored for different missions, emphasizing excellent mobility and protection across diverse terrains. According to Otokar, they offer highly adaptable configurations to meet the tactical needs of potential military operators.

The ARMA 6×6 and 8×8 are modular personnel carriers designed for high mobility and survivability. The ARMA II, equipped with a Cockerill XC-8 105HP 105mm turret, enhances its capability to engage armored vehicles and fortified positions effectively.

The Cobra II, another highlight from Otokar, is a well-known armored tactical vehicle with significant export numbers, providing superior mine and improvised explosive device (IED) protection. Its versatile design allows for multiple configurations suitable for missions ranging from troop transport to medical evacuation and reconnaissance.

The Tulpar, a lightweight armored vehicle and one of Otokar’s latest developments, integrates firepower, mobility, and protection in a modular technology package. At Eurosatory 2018, it featured a John Cockerill 105mm turret, and now, in its latest iteration, it showcases a 120mm Hitfact turret, continuing its evolution.

Otokar also introduced the UGV Alpar, an unmanned ground vehicle equipped with a multipurpose turret. This system enables remote operation in hazardous environments, providing reconnaissance, surveillance, and fire support capabilities without risking human operators.
