The [B]M[/B]ulti-[B]H[/B]elicopter [B]D[/B]ock ship (MHD), a vessel of unmatched design flexibility, offers superior sea-lift and seabase capabilities. Ranging from 15.000 to 20.000t the MHD has a maximum main flight deck of 170m/4000 square meters, six landing pads and hangar space for additional five medium sized helicopters. The floodable well-dock can accommodate two LCU’s or one LCAC. Two LCMs and RHIBs are arranged on davits port and starboard. This type of vessel provides up 1000 lane meters for vehicles and or containers. It is independent from shore utilities due to its own loading and unloading equipment and permits simultaneous flight and cargo activities. The MHD can be fitted with optional self-defence sensors/effectors.
