Trials are scheduled to conclude by February 2018.</p><p></p><p>After evaluation is complete CAEx will then provide its approval or disapproval for a serial production decision. The army hopes to buy around 30 vehicles for rapid reaction forces such as the Parachute Infantry Brigade (Bda Inf Pqd), which would use the platforms for reconnaissance, utility, MEDEVAC, 120 mm mortar towing, and more.</p><p></p><p>Chivunk includes a 140 hp MWM Motores Diesel Sprint-series 4.07 TCE Euro III diesel engine, Eaton FS2305A manual transmission, Agrale transfer case, double wishbone independent suspension, 3-tonne winch, and a 12 V electrical system.
