This order consists in replacing two out of three 60kVA 60Hz converters we had delivered in 2002, on the two Scorpène submarines. The front panel features a touch screen with convenient access to various parameters. SC design concept is based on an open and modular architecture adaptable to any submarine design. SC is fitted with a high performance numerical autopilot which allows several control modes (Automatic, manual and mixed modes). Additional functions like “Decision Support Tool” and “OBTS” (Onboard Training Simulator) increase the performance of the user.
