IHS Jane's understands that Peruvian Super Seasprites will have their APS-143C radars upgraded to the (V)3 version and will receive a <strong>new dipping sonar (most likely L-3 HELRAS)</strong> to increase capabilities for ASW missions.</p><p></p><p>The government-to-government contract was signed on 9 October and facilitated by the Canadian Commercial Corporation (CCC). Peru's navy is understood to have allocated a <strong>USD115 million budget for this acquisition, covering the helicopters and upgrades</strong>.
