The LRR is very similar to the one installed on the RN Type 45 destroyers, developed by the collaborative partnership between Thales Netherlands and BAESystems. The mast cap was manufactured by Babcock at Rosyth from drawings produced by design teams in the ACA at Bristol and Portsmouth.
