<blockquote data-quote="MAC1966" data-source="post: 42620" data-attributes="member: 49"><p><strong><span style="font-size: 15px">Eurofighter in Turkey</span></strong></p><p></p><p>Turkey’s 9th four day International Defence Industry Fair (IDEF) kicks off today at the Tuyap Fair, Convention and Congress Center in Büyükçekmece, Istanbul. Eurofighter Typhoon exhibits at the event as it has in previous years. The purpose of our attendance is to support the current Eurofighter Typhoon export activities in Turkey, led by our partner company Alenia Aeronautica. </p><p></p><p>Eurofighter Typhoon will focus its presence on a stand with the Eurofighter Cockpit Demonstrator and a movie theatre showing several promotional videos including Safeguarding our Nations Future and 2008 Highlights. </p><p></p><p>Also on display will be a half scale EJ200 engine model, a </p><p>CAPTOR-E RADAR, Praetorian DASS pods, a PIRATE/IRST model, a 1/12th scale Eurofighter Typhoon model and an HEA display.
