Thank you Thunder, Maria Christina is a friend of mine on Facebook, I have many friends from Argentina, mostly civilians without a military background, on that network. I don't know why Maria sought me out to be her friend a few months ago, but I am always happy to receive friendship from a country for which I have great admiration and respect. I realized her husband was killed in action when this Christmas day (2022) she commented (Facebook) on a photo of my family. I decided to look at her profile in more detail and that's when I discovered her very challenging journey to reunite her husband and son. I have to tell you that the story moved me to tears. Here is a woman whose husband was killed by a British missile, fired by a Royal Navy sailor and she takes the time to send me a message on Christmas Day. With a heart full of forgiveness, Maria reached out to me and at first I felt a heavy load of guilt, but this was replaced by love and admiration for her. Forty years have passed since my country entered hostilities with Argentina and it is time for all of us to move forward with peace and reconciliation in our hearts. If we need an example to follow, we need look no further than Maria Christina. Greetings. Ken. british veteran HMS Cardiff 1982
