No es nada malo esos Mig-31 deben ser de las primeras versiones, seguro que debieron estar recontra cargados de horas de vuelo por eso las dieron de baja y usaron los repuestos que servían.

2 cosas que me sorprenden
1) Que operen planeadores y Mig-31 en el mismo aerodromo
2) Que sigan usando esos misiles. Hay algun info de que le hayan hecho alguna mejora en los ultimos 10/15 años?

Lo del planeador a mi también me sorprendió.
En cuanto a los misiles creo que Grulla sería uno de los mas indicados en responder, yo de misiles se muy poco, y si hablamos de misiles rusos muchísimo menos.

La producción termino en 1990/91 actualizaciones ni idea pero estamos hablando que los últimos misiles tienen tecnología de los 90.

Segun Jane's la versión de guía radar semiactiva R-40RD no se encuentra en servicio. Solo siguen en servicio las con guia infrarroja, de los cuales el R-40TD entro en servicio en 1980.

La versión mejorada R-46TD entro en servicio en 1982 y es la que actualmente llevan los MiG-31. Creo que es todo aspecto.

Esas versiones deben traer nuevas cabezas buscadoras ya que se encaro su mejora y modernización después del incidente de Belenko.

Un misil infrarrojo con un alcance de 50 km y una cabeza explosiva de 70 kg es todavía un arma de temer contra bombarderos

Gracias.
Me quedo con que el Foxhound esta limitado a atacar bombarderos sin escolta.
O a depender de muchas hechos fortuitos como el Foxbat iraqui.

Aun asi no se cuanto puede hacer contra contramedidas modernas, especialmente contra un B-1 que tiene velocidad y limitada capacidad de maniobra.


Tal vez los chinos deban preocuparse mas.



No toco el tema Tanqueros o AEW porque considerando que van a tener su escolta de cazas el Mig-31 va a estar con las de perder frente a medios mas modernos.

Pero el MiG-31 es un interceptor puro destinado a defender ciudades, centros industriales y objetivos militares estrategicos de Rusia. Aparte de algunos Shows Aéreos, no salen mucho de Rusia. El atacante va a tener que pasar por los SAM S-300/400 desplegados por Rusia y es más factible que el MiG-31 juegue de local acompañado por AWAC A-50, que los aviones del enemigo lo hagan. Aparte en concepción, armamento equipamiento es muy diferente del MiG-25. Esta mas cercano a un F-14 que a un Tornado ADV

Ademas hay que ver en que consisten las modernizaciones de los MiG-31BM, de las que nada se conoce. Los R-33 de guia radar semiactiva (tuvieron sus razones en elegir dicha guia) andan en el orden de 120 km de alcance y los nuevos R-37 de guia radar activa en 270 km, pero no se si estos últimos entraron en servicio

Del R-37 conozco bien poco, tendré que buscar información actualizada, la del Janes que lei es muy vieja para comentar aquí.......

Tenia entendido que no van a operar como un Mig-21 sino que van a estar mas alla del alcance de los SAM Propios y buscando a los bombarderos enemigos antes de que lancen sus misiles crucero.

Como dijiste vos. Mas F-14 que ADV

Pero como planteaba desde el comienzo.
Sin misiles actualizados poco va a poder hacer.

Es como decis, si es el mismo bicho que entro en servicio a principios de los 80 sin ninguna mejora, de poco sirve contra un B-2A o un B-1B puesto al dia . Pero nunca tuve muy claro en que consisten las mejoras al nivel MIG-31BM, es poco lo que se sabe

Bue responderas mañana.
Si bien, uno puede pensar que el update lo pone al dia.

Se puede decir lo mismo de las armas. Eso planteo. Principalmente por la tecnologia.
Siendo el blanco un bombardero no hace falta tanta maniobrabilidad.
Para que tengan una idea. Un B-1 puede meter hasta 3g.
El resto va a ser menos que eso. Y la velocidad le sirve solo si ve la amenaza a tiempo.
