Un Museo De Malvinas

[Argentino Malvinas]

Se sabe del interes de muchisimos argentinos por la historia y los recuerdos de malvinas.
Hay diversos museos en todo el pais, administrados por la FAA, EA o la AA, algunos tambien por civiles, con muy buen material.
Pero a lo que yo voy es a tener al menos un museo en algun punto del pais que pueda reproducir las islas malvinas, un museo tematico es lo que me gustaria tener, si es posible un predio con una costa.
Con aviones barcos tanques y posiciones que recreen la batalla.
Bueno tiro la idea y si quieren pueden subir imagenes o links de museos.

When argentinian war cemetery on Malvinas was constructed?

Fue a fines de 1982, principios de 1983 cuando el gobierno Ingles comunica al Argentino que varios cuerpos habían empezado a aparecer ya que no habían sido sepultados.
El gobierno Argentino autoriza el traslados de los cuerpos y el correspondiendo entierro con una cruz que decía "solo conocido por dios", reservándose el derecho de trasladarlos al continente cuando sea adecuado.
Los ingleses crearon una comisión para trasladar los cuerpos a puerto Darwin.
El 14 de julio de 1999 se establece que se construirá un monumento en Darwin en memoria de los caídos en combate. Finalmente el cementerio se construyó en 2004, mediante una donación de Eduardo Eurnekian .

Kockica, I'll translate it and add some info for you, it was in 1982/1983, when the British government informed to Argentina that several bodies of Argentine soldiers were appearing in the battlefields. The Argentine answer was that that the National Government allowed to the British to bury all the Argentine deads in an unique cemetery. By that time the Argentine soldiers were buried in different places.

So British decided to build it, but far enough from Argentine Port (maybe you know this city as Stanley) in order to not "disturb" the main population of the islands, so the place choosen was Darwin. And this village became famous between the other of the islands just because the existance of this cemetery. A lot of turists or travellers started to mark Darwin as a visit point, what was really difficult before the war.

In 1998 the Comision of the Argentine killed in action familiars informed the restoration of the cemetery and the improvement of its instalations, and building a mural to bring honour to the KIAs.
The British answer was firm: They would allow the improvement of the cemetery, but there wouldn't be any flag, any patriotic phrase or anything like that.
So in the mural only appear the names of the killed in action, and the phrase "The Argentine Nation, in memorial to the Argentine soldiers who died in action in 1982".
The center of the mural finally finished empty, because the islanders didn’t allow to the statue of Saint Mary of Lujan, the Argentine patron Saint, because its clothes were skyblue and white (a totally stupid obsession).
Besides the mural, the improvement and restoration plan included the changing of the crosses and the plaques (now written in spanish, not in english), the newer ones made with Argentine wood and stone.

G Lock, no solo eso, los muy caraduras, pasados unos años de la negativa que viaje la imagen de Ntra Sra del Luján, anduvieron diciendo por todos lados (también en una entrevista hecha por Lanata) que los Argentinos eran unos irresponsables y que el cementerio no había quedado enteramente finalizado porque a pesar de haber prometido que llevarían una imagen de la Virgen, nunca lo hicieron.

O sea, no solo que no lo permiten por una estupidez, sino que después salen a decir que somos irresponsables por no llevarla. De no creer.

Si, lo recuerdo a Lanata dando con un caño por el abandono de las obras del Cementerio de Darwin.

I don´t remember the name but there´s a web site with a map of the cementary. And when you click over a grave it pops up info about the veteran. I think i saw the link here in Zona Militar.
