An A4D-2 Skyhawk of Attack Squadron (VA) 22 turned over on its wing tip after a mishap on th flight deck of the carrier Midway (CVA 41) on November 2, 1960.

Y no fue el unico....

An A-4C Skyhawk of Attack Squadron (VA) 83 pictured after trapping on the deck of the carrier Essex (CVS 9) on May 17, 1963, forty-nine years ago today. The caption on the back of the original image states the straightforward Navy assessment of what happened. "Specifications require that the turnover angle shall not be greater than 54 degrees for carrier-based airplanes. This lillustrates the problem."
