Argentina and Venezuela increase military-industrial ties
The growing military relationship between Argentina and Venezuela was highlighted on 21 September by the first known military transfer between the two states, with the Venezuelan armed forces receiving 400 mobile electric plants. The plants are intended to be deployed to provide electricity for army, navy and national guard units on Venezuela's borders; they were procured through a USD74 million programme
