DM2A3 Seehecht

The Ula class submarine has a surface displacement of 1,040 tons and a submerged displacement of 1,150 tons. With a length of 59 meters (193 ft 7 in), a beam of 5.40 meters (17 ft 9 in), and a draft of 4.60 meters (15 ft 1 in), it offers efficient maneuverability.
Propelled by a diesel-electric system, the submarine is equipped with two MTU 16V 396 diesel engines, each producing 970 kW of power, along with a Siemens Permasyn "silent" electric motor generating 2,200 kW (3,000 hp). This allows for a surface speed of 11 knots (20 km/h; 13 mph) and a submerged speed of 23 knots (43 km/h; 26 mph).
With an operational range of 5,000 nautical miles (9,300 km; 5,800 mi) at 8 knots (15 km/h; 9.2 mph), the Ula-class submarine can operate at depths exceeding 200 meters (656 ft).
Manned by a crew of 21, the Ula-class submarine is equipped with advanced sensor systems, including the Kelvin Hughes 1007 Surface Search radar, Atlas Elektronik CSU83 sonar, and Thomson Sintra flank array, enabling enhanced situational awareness and detection capabilities.
In terms of armament, the class features eight bow 21-inch (533 mm) torpedo tubes capable of launching 14 Atlas Elektronik DM2A3 torpedoes.
