Good afternoon Ken, from Villa Carlos Paz in autumn en otoño...
Here´s the man of the camera,...he´s Spike Riley, HMS PLYMOUTH radio man.
It´s totally original pic... with trademark!!!!
If you feel like, and I hope you do, we´ll get to go over along with the rest of the readers and visitors, on the PERRO & GATO attack in San Carlos, right across Promontorio Güemes (Fanning Head), at the very entrance to San Carlos Bay. The F126 whcih had the goal-keeper role at the time was attacked in AJAX BAY during that unforgettable June 8th; meanwhile, at the same time, the Halcones gave fire to the Fleet´s darkest Day at Hoya Chasco (Bluff Cove). Also a future RAF Air Marshall Wg Cdr SQUIRE, left FOB San Carlos unusable for a 5 hour period due to the his out of control crash landing with GR3 XZ-989 which torned some of the planking to pieces, and never again flew the skies of the motherland...
Ken and readres... having your pics as kick-start, let´s go over with some of the posts that I put to your consideration in ZM...
