Subir en proteccion al TAM es posible pero obviamente no al nivel de resistir un dardo KE de 120, como el Leopard 2. South African company IST's autotracker is to be tested aboard a Vickers OMC Rooikat 8x8 reconnaissance vehicle. The autotracker is also being used in the Rooivalk attack helicopter and in the Swiss Army's Dragon Robot missile control system. It uses field-programmable gate arrays and digital signal processors to carry out centroid or correlation tracking algorithms.
