On June 30, 2022, the Swedish defense procurement agency Försvarets Materielverk (FMV) signed a contract with the Saab AB group worth 7.3 billion Swedish kronor ($716 million) for the acquisition of two aircraft of the GlobalEye long-range radar detection and control complex for the Swedish Air Force, made on the basis of a large Bombardier Global 6000 administrative aircraft and equipped with a radar complex Saab Erieye ER. The contract includes an option for two more such aircraft.
The third aircraft of the Saab GlobalEye long-range radar detection and control complex built for the United Arab Emirates, made on the basis of a large Bombardier Global 6000 administrative aircraft and equipped with the Saab Erieye ER radar complex (temporary Swedish registration SE-RMU, factory number 9787), 2020 (c) Saab AB
Both new aircraft of the Saab GlobalEye AWACS and control complex should be delivered to the Swedish Air Force in 2027 and will receive the official Swedish designation S 106. These new aircraft (two ordered and two optional) should replace the two Swedish Air Force AWACS and control aircraft S 100D Argus - Saab turboprop aircraft that have been in operation since the late 1980s 340 with the first-generation Erieye radar system.

Mas caro y de hecho ya incorporar algo en esta categoría esta fuera de nuestras posibilidades..... mi planteo son los estupendos R-99 en el futuro cuando se retiren de la FAB.......... es mas razonable y ya fue evaluado en el pais incluso

Por que estaria fuera de nuestras posibilidades? a mi me parece que muchos estan mirando todo esto con la misma optica miserable que destruyo a las FFAA en los ultimos 40 anios.
No es la vision del Gobierno, y el peluca tiene el norte bastante claro en lo que quiere hacer.
De nuevo, hasta hace un mes atras estaban todos que todavia no sabian si se cerraba lo de los F-16, y miren donde estamos ahora.
Lo que vamos a experimentar en estos anios es literalmente un cambio de 180 grados en materia de defensa, y politica internacional.

Y claro, se refiere al actual presupuesto. Lo mismo que para operar los F-16, que estan fuera del presupuesto, se van a asignar partidas extra (supongo luego para modificar el presupuesto).
Cualquier cosa que quieran comprar queda fuera del presupuesto, pues porque el presupuesto es irrisorio de los insignificante que es.
De ahi lo que Milei dice que aggiornar las FFAA para que puedan cumplir su cometido, la Deensa nacional. Se refiere no solo a equipamiento, y personal, sino tambien a presupuesto.

Creo... creo... que, si hubiera plata, este avión en particular no es del agrado de la FAA por su velocidad y autonomía.
Al futuro cercano, yo lo veo con varios E-2C, con un upgrade básico inmediato y un plan para llevarlo a un intermedio entre el E-2D y el Advaasíd y asi tenemos naves por 15 años hasta tener dinero para ir por naves más modernas. Ese sería mi camino.Ya les dije en el hilo del F-16...
