El último avión de guerra electrónica Northrop Grumman EA-6B Prowler de la Armada de Estados Unidos llevo a cabo su vuelo final desde la Estación Aérea Naval de Whidbey Island en Washington el 27 de junio, concluyendo 44 años de servicio con la fuerza.
El avión con base en portaaviones participó en un despegue ceremonial final desde su base anterior, abriendo el camino para el Boeing EA-18G Growler como su reemplazo en las tareas de guerra electrónica .
