Currently, there are several international ATC systems, installed and/or operational that are based on the SkyLine® product family. The Nanchang and Hangzhou automation systems for the Changbei and Xiaoshan International Airports, respectively, in the People’s Republic of China, were accepted in 2000 by the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) and are now operational. The air traffic control systems at the Hongqiao and Pudong International Airports in Shanghai, People’s Republic of China, also based on the SkyLine® product family, were accepted by the CAAC in August 1999 and have been in operational use for almost two years.
The Korean Area Control Center (KACC) System that supports the new airport and facility at Inchon, Korea, also is based on SkyLine®. The system, which completed factory acceptance tests in February 2000, became operational in October 2001.
SkyLine® is a product that can be installed in operational sites in months not years. Case in point, the SkyLine® system now operating at the Ezeiza International Airport serving Buenos Aires, Argentina, was installed in December 1999 on a very aggressive schedule. In addition, the SkyLine® ATC system was selected in December 1999 for the Interim Scottish Centre Upgrade, at Prestwick, Scotland in the United Kingdom, where it provides a radar data processing and display system for the UK National Air Traffic Services, Ltd. The system for the Interim Scottish Centre Upgrade became operational in November 2001.
