Matilda y King Tiger - Matilda, utilizado principalmente en el norte de África, se enfrentó generalmente a tanques italianos. Armado con un cañón de 40 mm, se mostró obsoleto frente a las armas alemanas, a pesar de tener un gran blindaje. Su escasa velocidad (5 a 15 km/h) lo hacían presa fácil.
King Tiger (Tiger II) Tanque pesado alemán, montaba un cañón KwK 43 de 88 mm, su pesado blindaje y su cañón le daban gran ventaja sobre sus oponentes. Su velocidad máxima a pesar de las 68 tn de peso era de 42 km/h.
Tanque Pesado KV-1 - Armado con un cañón de 76,2 mm y gran blindaje que le permitía resistir disparos de 35 y 50 mm. Su peso era de 45 tn.

SdKfz 8/DB-10
Este vehículo fue encontrado en Polonia,en el río Pilica,y pertenecía a la LUFTWAFFE.
El mismo trato de superar el río que estaba congelado,pero acabó por hundirse en el lecho del río.
La ubicación del vehículo se conocía desde la guerra,pero los primeros intentos por recuperarlo en 1957 fracasaron.
En 1998 se vio un nuevo intento de recuperarlo,y tras un año de preparativos se encontraron algunas piezas alrededor del lugar
El vehículo fue rescatado y completamente restaurado con apoyo del gobierno,y las primeras pruebas de rodaje se completaron en el 2003.

Tanque pesado Churchill - Con un grueso blindaje y un cañón de 2 libras, sirvió de base para muchos vehículos especializados. Los primeros diseños destinados a reemplazar a los Matilda y Valentine dieron resultados poco satisfactorios y se pensó en reemplazarlo por los Cromwell, pero el modelo Mk III se demostró mejor que sus antecesores, destacándose en la segunda batalla de El Alamein y luego en la versión Mk IV durante el desembarco en Normandía.
Llegó el turno de los japoneses
Type 1 Ho Ni III - Formado por un cañón Type 90 de 75 mm y un chasis Type 97 con una torreta abierta, del Ho Ni original se produjeron sólo 26 ejemplares y se cambió al Ho Ni II con cañón de 100 mm de este se realizaron 54 unidades y fue reemplazado por el III que volvía a montar un cañón de 75 mm pero en una torreta cerrada. Estos últimos fueron fabricados por Hitachi y de los 54 pedidos se entregaron sólo 31. Era utilizado com artillería autopropulsada o como cazatanques.
Type 95 Kyu Go - Tanque ligero, producido en algo más de 1100 unidades entre 1936 y 1943, montaba un cañón de 37 mm y dos armas de 7,7. Fue concebido como arma de apoyo o vehículo auxiliar para las operaciones de la infantería. Era conocido también como Ha Go.
Type 89 Ot Su (I-Go) - Tanque medio diseñado en 1932, montaba un cañón de 57 mm corto para atacar fortines o empalizadas y dos armas de 6,5. Se demostró obsoleto al inicio de la SGM, ya que no tenía blindaje suficiente para soportar armas de 12,7 en adelante.
Y un par de soviets
SU 76 - Cañón autopropulsado, montaba un ZiS-3 de 76 mm, en un chasis de T-70 modificado con la adicción de un rodamiento más por lado. No llevaba armas secundarias.
T 34 76 - El T 34 original que montaba un cañón F-34 de 76,2 mm y 2 DT de 7,62 mm. Se calcula que desde 1940 se fabricaron cerca de 100.000 unidades de las distintas variantes de T 34.
