Off the coast of Korea, a pair of F4U-4 Corsair fighters landed on board the carrier Princeton (CV 37) after a mission, probably because they did not have enough fuel to make it back to Boxer (CV 21), the carrier from which they had launched earlier in the day. By tradition, the flight deck personnel on board Princeton adorned the "offending" pilots' planes with graffiti prior to sending them on their way back to Boxer.
